YOU DESIGN YOUR WILD WEEK
Participate in everything you want to,
and nothing you don’t!

SCRAPBOOKING

Stephanie Collins will be leading scrapbooking sessions on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 9:00am to 12:00 noon for Wild Women who would like to learn or practice the art of preserving memories and journaling. Stephanie will be available to instruct novices through the basics, and to provide ideas, suggestions and support to more experienced scrapbookers. Wild Women may arrive at any point during the block, staying for the amount of time that suits their project. Stephanie will be available at other times Saturday, Sunday.

KAYAKING

Eagle Lake and Fish River will provide you with plenty of opportunity to kayak. There are PADDLE BOARDS and CANOES available for use as well. Wild Women will paddle two pieces of the Fish River this week. On one excursion you will travel from St. Froid Lake into Eagle Lake. The other will be from Soldier Pond all the way to the St. John River in Fort Kent, portaging around Fish River Falls. Watercraft will be available during daylight hours for groups or solo kayak expeditions around Eagle Lake.

PAINT & SIP

Wild Women will have a number of opportunities to attend a Paint & Sip hosted by Jennifer Dube, a k-12 art teacher at Blue Mountain Union in Vermont. These will be offered at various times Sunday through Wednesday. Coffee/Tea and muffins will be served during the early morning paint and sip!

MOUNTAIN CLIMBING

You will have the opportunity summit local mountains this week. Just like all our summer adventures, Wild Women will begin with a climb up Hedgehog Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, Wild Women can choose to summit the both the North and South peaks of Quoggy Jo in Presque Isle and Haystack in Castle Hill.

FLY FISHING & FLY TYING

Greg Ponte, President of the Kennebec Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited will instruct Wild Women in the art of fly tying and fly fishing.

MAP & COMPASS

John Pelletier will teach beginner Map & Compass over three sessions: Saturday, Sunday and Monday at 6:00pm. Wild Women will learn how to orient a map, find True North, plot a course and more skills to navigate safely in the woods.
